Brain Health Day Student Poster Competition
As a part of the recent Brain Health Day event, students from the University of Manchester were given the opportunity to create a poster that showcases an area of Brain Research to the public. The finalists were then judged by Professor Stuart Allan and Alisha Patel, Co-Director and Centre Manager of the Geoffrey Jefferson Brain Research Centre respectively.
More than 20 entries were submitted, and it was a very difficult decision to select just 6 finalists and 1 eventual winner. The diversity of posters submitted was fantastic, and many attendees said how much they enjoyed speaking to the students and learning about the content of their posters.
Eventual winners Anthony Tang and Ashley Chun presented a colourful and imaginative infographic poster on Parkinson’s Disease. The judges felt that it was informative, clear and very well suited to the audience who attended on the day.
Congratulations to all finalists and our winners!
